Classical solo singing is an elevated form of communication, requiring discipline and skill. In this course, you will immerse yourself in repertoire from Renaissance opera through art song to modern musical theatre, use the international phonetic alphabet to learn repertoire in other languages, discover the inner anatomical workings of your voice, and develop the presentation and communication skills necessary for successful solo performance. You will participate in at least two evening concerts.
