This course is designed for aspiring creative writers and avid readers. Class time will be predominantly devoted to responding to creative prompts, while homework will focus on independent reading, chosen from a list of stories, essays, and poems. Students will create a portfolio of their creative writing and their reflections on the readings assigned for the course.
